Hi everyone!

My name is Giuseppe Russo, but everyone calls me Joe.
I just started teaching at Imarge in Kitahama this month.

I was born and grew up in the UK in a town called Colchester, not far from London.
At university my major was film studies, so I love movies.
After graduating I travelled around the world for 6 months.
I went to Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South America.
I had a great time, I really like travelling.

When I came back to England after this,
I decided I wanted to visit Japan again so I applied for jobs in Japan.
Now, I've been living and teaching in Osaka for 5 years.

Apart from movies and travelling,
I also like playing the guitar.
I have a band and we practice once a week.
We hope to do some live performances in the future.
Studying Japanese is challenging but it is also one of my hobbies.
I will take a Japanese test in December so wish me luck!

Cheers!

About Filming

Hello!

Recently
I've been busy making a movie.
It's about a 50 minute long action/thriller.

I play an English girl who arrives in Japan.
her bags are stolen and
she gets involved in some dangerous man's plans.

It is my first time acting.
It has been so much fun,
but is really difficult sometimes...!:S
My boyfriend is directing it,
and we filmed mostly around the Toyonaka area.

The weekend before last
we filmed a scene
where the English girl meets a mysterious man
in a dark black suit,
in the middle of the night,
out in a deserted place.

It was really fun (and a bit scary!)...
and we didn't get any sleep at all that night!Haha!
