korea trip

Hi Everyone!

Two weeks ago, I went to Korea for my first time.

It was very fun, and I enjoyed it a lot!

Korea is very similar to Japan, but also very different in some ways.

Koreans love hot and spicy food, especially kimchi.

In fact, kimchi came with everything I ordered!

I tried many delicious foods there,

including: bimbimba, chige nabe and reimen.

I also enjoyed Korean soju, which is very similar to Japanese shochu.

The food and drink in Korea is a little cheaper than Japan.

I felt that Korea had more open space than Japan,

and that Seoul was very much like an American city

because of its size and open areas.

Korea seemed less crowded than Japan,

and I also noticed that the trains were bigger and wider than Japanese trains.

However, they were a little uncomfortable.

My favorite train line is the Hankyu line, haha.

Korea has some nice fashion shops, and also has some interesting

traditional shops where you can buy traditional Korean goods.

There are a lot of things to see and do in Korea.

Unfortunately, I only had a short time there,

so I wasnt able to visit any temples or shrines.

Overall, I had a great time there, and encourage everyone to go to Korea sometime.

Its very close to Japan, and if you go during the right season,

it can be very cheap.  You wont regret it!

See you next lesson!
