Hello everyone!
My name is Erin Masuda, and I just started teaching at Imarge.
I was born in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and I lived there
until I went to university in Seattle, Washington.
After I graduated, I came to Japan.
I taught English at a junior high school in Shiga-ken for two years.
Then last month I moved to Osaka because I wanted to experience big city life in Japan.
I love it!If you can recommend any good restaurants in Osaka,
please tell me because I like to eat.
Besides eating, I also like studying Japanese,
watching Japanese dramas, reading, playing the ukulele, bodyboarding, camping, and hiking.
I love to do anything related to the ocean, so I miss living near the beach very much!

My great-grandparents on both sides were Japanese.
They moved to Hawaii from Hiroshima.
Since then, everyone in my family has married other Japanese people.
So we are all Japanese American.
Actually the reason I came to Japan to learn more about
my Japanese ancestry and culture!
Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting all of you some time!
