Pimple Crisis

This week was not so good for me

I have had this awful, awful pimple on my nose for a week

and it just keeps getting bigger and shinier.

I thought it would disappear but it seems to be here to stay.

So I decided to get some advice from the beauty specialists of the world

-MY JAPANESE STUDENTS AND FRIENDS- on how to have clean beautiful skin like the Japanese.

They have not let me down. I have gotten numerous advice.

awful         ひどい

shinier       目立つ

letdown     ~を裏切る

numerous      たくさんの

1. HONEY

: According to one of my students honey is great for the skin,

adding honey to my face for 20 minutes will help to keep my skin smooth, soft and young.

(I imagine sticky, but I guess thats the price)

2.TEA

This was very surprising, living in Japan for a year

I realized tea in Japan is a miracle drug it is good for weight and health

and now my friend tells me it's great for my skin.

At first I was surprised but after doing some research I realized my friend was right.

Scientifically the reason is a special ingredient called polyphenols.

This special ingredient supposedly  prevents my face from looking like an 80 year old.

From now on I will be drinking tea. Good bye CC lemon and Coke, hello Oolong.

3. BASIL LEAVES AND BOILING WATER

: This was the strangest, supposedly,

if I boil 1 cup of water and add 3 teaspoon of Basil leaves

and when cool, apply to my face with cotton, my acne will be history.

I bought the basil leaves and was going to make my facial medicine

but I made pesto instead the next day and it was delicious.

So its June 27,2008 five days of pimple hell and no results.

I have been putting honey on my face everynight and drinking oolong tea,

didn't use the basil leaves but ate them instead and  my enormous pimple is still here.

I guess these remedies only works on the Japanese.

My Accident

Hi All!

I hope everyone had a fun weekend.

Mine was great, but on Sunday I had a bad accident!

I had been relaxing at my apartment and doing the wash.

As I was bringing in my clothes from outside,

I accidentally tripped over sliding door and hurt my middle toe!

sliding door          引き戸

toe                   足の指

The pain was so bad that I shouted out some bad words

and had to sit down for a few minutes.

I couldnt sleep at all on Sunday night,

so when Monday morning came around I went to the hospital.

The doctor took some x-rays , and said that I had no broken bones.

However, I may have some bruised bones, and this can cause lots of pain.

Also, my toe had a blood blister beneath the nail,

so the doctor had to let some blood out!

It was gross, but at least it made some of the pain go away.

Anyways, Im feeling better now,

and the doctor said it should only take 1 week for my toe to heal.

So, if you see me walking funny or hopping around at Imarge with only 1 shoe on,

its because of my toe!

Thanks for reading my post.  Hope to see you soon!

大阪LOVER♪♪

20080525162702.jpg
